One group, one goal - success

Being a decentralised organisation allows the FORTEC Group to leverage its strengths more effectively. Major players in the Group are its two subsidiaries FORTEC Integrated GmbH (formerly Distec) and FORTEC POWER GmbH (formerly EMTRON). In 2020 they took over the portfolio of FORTEC Elektronik AG, which had been operating as a supplier until that time. The FORTEC Group consists of eight firms and brands in total:

 

The FORTEC Integrated GmbH (formerly Distec GmbH) is an international display specialist and pioneer in TFT applications. Operating in four business areas – standard and fire load certified monitors, subsystems with own platforms in hardware/software, the currently worldwide most advanced optical bonding process VacuBond as well as the sale of displays – FORTEC Integrated GmbH is a technology partner for industrial firms. A comprehensive spectrum of standard products is rounded off by full customisation capability.

 

FORTEC Electronic Design and Solution Egypt SMLC, located near Cairo, was established as a development site for FORTEC Integrated and is responsible for facilitating hardware/software R&D services worldwide, local market access in MENA (marketing and sales) and translation and digital content creation support worldwide.

 

The FORTEC Power GmbH (formerly EMTRON electronic GmbH) is a dedicated full-service provider of power supply components such as power supplies and DC/DC converters since 1981. With its manufacturer-independent portfolio, it offers application-specific customer solutions for every application. Thanks to its in-house laboratory and state-of-the-art logistics solutions, FORTEC Power promotes sustainability and service for its partners. For customer-specific design-in, power supply modification and in-house development, the Power team also supports its customers on-site with high technical competence and consulting expertise.

 

Under the name FORTEC Power, AUTRONIC Steuer- und Regeltechnik GmbH, a renowned specialist for DC/DC, AC/AC, and DC/AC converters up to 2.5 kW, offers highly reliable power supplies for demanding applications. Compact designs, high efficiency, helpful protection functions and integrated EMC filtering characterize the products. In addition to the standard DC/DC program for rail, AUTRONIC offers innovative special solutions tailored to customers’ requirements, in particular for harsh environments. Compact designs, high efficiency, useful protective functions and built-in electromagnetic compatibility filters are stand-out features.

 

FORTEC Technology Uk Ltd.(formerly Display Technology Ltd.) supplies the UK market and Ireland with TFT-display solutions for industry, digital signage, and  a wide range of power supplies. Fully customized to the customer's requirements, it offers a wide range of products and services from single components to complete kit solutions with touch screen and TFT controller. Under its umbrella also the inductive products of COMPONENTS BUREAU are distributed.

 

Since 1979, FORTEC Switzerland AG (formerly ALTRAC AG) has been a well-known manufacturer of power supplies and displays for machine industry, telecommunications, security technology, medical, measurement and control technology, railway, avionics and space in Switzerland. With its high level of technical expertise, the FORTEC Switzerland AG sales team is in a position to advise customers on suitable products, right from the concept study to the design-in-phase.

FORTEC United-States (formerly Apollo) is the specialist for TFT displays and optical bonding for the US and Canada. From standard products to the completely customer-specific solution for industry, medicine or security technology, FORTEC United-States supplies the optimum product for every application.

 

FORTEC Czech Republic s.r.o. (formerly Alltronic s.r.o.) in Dýšina near Pilsen manufactures winding goods, electronic assemblies, DC/DC converters and assembles displays with touchscreens. The portfolio was recently expanded to include VacuBond optical bonding production.
